Hang Onto Your Ass...Part 2...

So, anyway, Steve-O followed through this morning and filed the 1113/1114 motions with the bankruptcy court. Not that it was a big shock, or anything. I think we all expected it, and, if you didn't, why?

Oh, by the way, this afternoon, a certain Zone committeeman called in and reported to the plant that a local reporter from channel 27 had reported that, even though Warren operations have so far 'made the cut' in Delphi's reorganization, certain business packages within our plants were called out specifically for termination in court today. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF THAT. I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THE WEB LOOKING FOR IT, AND, SO FAR IT'S NOT TRUE!!!!! Chances are pretty good that, unless you see it on Delphi, UAW or IUE letterhead, it's JUST A RUMOR.

Keep cool and stay informed...

Just got done looking through the court filings and saw no evidence of specific packages to be cut.

Exactly my point...if you go to MSNBC, there was an article that laid out the business packages that are included in the plants that Delphi is looking to sell or close, but that's it.

This is probably from the same zone rep that always likes to start crap so the distict reps take the heat for it.

That would be him. I just won't put the names out, but I'm sure everyone knows who I'm talking about.

It's not about having a personal vendetta...however, an elected union official should be required to find out all of the facts before he starts spouting off at the mouth.
